Gapsted Valley Selection 2009 Dolcetto Syrah

Wine Making
Both Dolcetto and shiraz were fermented on skins to dryness giving intensity and full flavour. Sweetened with juice from the end of ferment resulted in natural CO² retained from ferment giving the palate a light spritz.
Colour: Bright ruby/cherry red
Nose: The wine displays intense aromas of cherry, ripe cassis and spice.
Palate: The palate is sweet and slightly frizzante with a lingering finish. Served well chilled.
Wine Analysis: Alc/Vol 11.5%

Food Matches: Enjoy on its own or with Asian food and summer salads. Try with antipasto, pizza or even with rich chocolate cake.
